Our Mission Project -
Julius & Dora Children's Centre, North West Kenya
The Centre's mission is to provide a loving home for abandoned babies. Most of them have been the victims of attempted infanticide, many having been ‘thrown away’ outside and left to die. We currently have 32 children. Most of the children have been with us since infancy and are now between the ages of 1 month and fourteen years.
They enjoy being a family together. We run our own Nursery and ‘early Primary’ school for the children, after which we find good Primary / Secondary schools for them. Flossie Adoyo (J&D Co-ordinator and ‘Mum’) and our house parents, provide a loving and flourishing environment for the children.
